I was born in Ohio, grew up across the Midwest and Colorado before moving to NC. I’m in Recovery. I’ve struggled with addiction and mental health issues over the years. In July 2015, the wheels came off (again) and i went from the hospital into treatment. I am grateful for my family, friends and everyone in New Hampshire who helped me get back on my feet. These days i live the quiet life - One Day at A Time.
For me, Art is the pursuit of discovery. There’s always a bit of excitement and fear when facing a blank canvas. I never seem to paint exactly what i had in mind. I Just paint what i’m feeling. Painting is an outlet and escape. I enjoy the mystery of the process - The Search. That’s what keeps me going.
